The "SANITERMICA ALBERTI FIRM" was established on 1st October 1954, at 12, Via Bezzecca, originally was called C.I.P. (Cooperativa Idraulica Passirano).
It was founded by the building surveyor Mr. Renato Alberti together with other partners and with a staff of twenty people.
The 50's represented the so-called "reconstruction boom ".
The first construction jobs for the firm especially concemed, pipes, drain and thermal fittings, for big civil building.
The first "historical" blocks of flats in Brescia were built exactly in those years, for instance the "Zodiaco", the "K2" and many others, whose notoriety is stands out in everybody's memory.
That was a real pioneering age, when it was often necessary to work even by night at torches light in order to finish the job on time.
The hard working conditions did not prevent" Sanitermica geom. Alberti" (this because the final name of the firm; as Mr. Alberti, in the meanwhile, had taken it over) from being up-to-dated in terms of technological innovations; to mention some of them: forced-circulation systems and the first Diesel boilers substituting the old coal, wood or naphtha ones.
In the same period, the Sanitermica Alberti started to work not only in the civil housebuilding field but also for Catholic colleges and institutes, for the municipality and for the Province.
The collaborations with the Ideal Standard in Brescia and in Milan and with various foundries are also remarkable.

The 60’s and the 70's were, for Brescia the decades of the so-called methanizarion.
The Sanitermica Alberti became the protagonist of this innovation working in collaboration with ASM (Azienda Servizi Mlunicipalizzati( the municipal public services).
The two societies joined constituting the firm in charge for the excavation.
In these decades the Saniterrnica Alberti also teamed up with the Region Lombardy to fulfil one of the best structures in town: the Ospedale Civile di Brescia (the most important local hospital).
Step by step the Saniterrnica Alberti kept on spreading out throughout the Province of Brescia, creating a branch in Val Camonica.
In the meanwhile it crossed the regional borders working also for the holiday camps in Cesenatico and in Riccione. In the 70's, during the oil crisis, the Sanitermica Alberti kept on collaborating with the ASM to instal the central heating system called "Teleriscaldarnento" in our town, Brescia.
We would also like to remind the reader that our finn very soon took measures to guarantee energy conservation and natural environment preservation.
'While other building firms worked on wall insulation and double glazing, the Sanitermica Alberti worked on thermoregulation systems, much more important than solar panels, very fashionable those years.
Sanitermica Alberti then started collaboration with the firms working on the construction of brand new modern buildings in "Brescia 2", such as blocks of flats and office premises. These new-built structures represented a leading architectural pattem and also constituted one of the first realisations regarding indispensable, centralised air conditioning, planned following the Arnerican models.
Always to this decade belonged the constructions of swimming pools, both private and public, an unmistakable sign of weal thier times. In the same period the Sanitermica Alberti started a direct collaboration with the military administration.
This innovation required a further widening and development of interests concerning the firm itself, which required an internaI re-establishment regarding the constitution of a S.p.A.( Joint-stock society).
The name ofthe society turned into: Sanitermica Alberti S.p.A.
Later on Ivfr. Alberti's sons, Alessandro and Michele, joined the board of direction of the new-bom S.p.A, respectively in 1975 and in 1979.

In the 80's the Sanitermica kept on working on air conditioning systems, especially for shopping centres and banks, and specialised in restoring buildings in the old towni centre.
To this purpose the Sanitermica began to apply new technical methods in order to limit the wall repairing assistance to improve the generaI good lasting of installations, both for old buildings and for new ones.
Our firm kept on enlarging and dealing with new customers, such as supermarkets (group Italmark) and industries: to the period belongs the construction of the Filatura di Cefalù in Sicily.
The Sanitermica is nowadays a big enterprise with its own maintenance service department specialised in ordinary (maintenance and prevention) and extraordinary (maintenance and updating) assistance.
Between the 80's and the 90's the Saniternrica A1berti S.p.A. strained to optimise power consumptiòn without forgetting problems conceming e environment matter, such as the microclimate control, water treatments and water conditioning.

The plant for atrazine, iron and manganese depuration system in Volta Mantovana was realised in collaboration with Cillichemie, than followed the plants for the Airport Valerio Catullo in Verona and, the holiday resort Centro Turistico Alberghiero Bagaglino in Porto Cervo (Sardinia).
In the future the Sanitermica Alberti is planning to expand its business abroad, after a promising start conceming material and supplying orders from Albania, North Africa and Arabic Countries.
Our firm will always maintain even with new customers, its own working style frank, warm and free from cold bureaucracy.

Private housebuilding division

The Sanitermica Alberti S.p.A. has built thousands of plants for block of flats or private houses.
To operate in this field concerns the creation of drinkable water mains, ofdrains for black and grey liquors, ofthoroughly fitted bathrooms (sanitation included), of some kitchen components as boilers or complete heating plants.
The Sanitermica Alberti creates both autonomic and centraI heating plants.

Private commerce division

It differs from private housbuilding because of the dimensions and of the typology-of sanitation, but principally for the air conditioning systems.
Most important is the fireproof system integrated to safety electrical devices.

Industrial division

This division is characterised by the presence of big plants concerning fluid distribution in general.
Heating and steam distribution plants, specific for heating transmission in big developed piping have, in this case, particular importance.
This division is also specia1ised in the realisation of compressed air system for macbine handling and painting.
Remarkable are also the realisations conceming energy regeneration through cooling towers flue gases regeneration and furnace heat.
Last but not least are the flue gases filtering plants and the spray painting booths to preserve the working and natural environment.

Public division

It is divided into several subgroups.

A) Schools, religious institutions, swimming pools, gyms: all of them need the sarne assistance given to the private housebuilding and private cornmerce divisions.
B) Hospitals: the above mentioned characteristics are appropriate also for hospitals.
Theie must be, anyway, a more accurate control conceming the microclimate and the. air-conditioning, not only in normal wards, but also for the offices and especially for those departments where biotechnology is applied; as, for instance: the major burn cases ward, operating theatres (with total protection air cleaner filters).
Very important are also the medica1 gases distributions plants used in operating theatres and intensive care units.
C) Military installations. The Sanitermica Alberti S.p.A. worked on lodges, clubrooms, heating plants and buildings where the NBC is situated.
Because of the complexity ofits construction this division is the pride ofour finn, which was able to satisfy a11 the requests, both of the military authorities and of the State Proper Office.
Only thanks to an accurate analyse is the Sanitermica is able to fulfil its client' s desires.
